Eligibility

To access LifeLinks outcome planning and outcome facilitation services and government-funded disability support services you need to meet the Whaikaha - Ministry of Disabled People eligibility criteria.  https://www.whaikaha.govt.nz/assessments-and-funding/who-can-get-support/needs-assessment-services/

  • People who have a physical, intellectual or sensory disability (or a combination of these)
  • People with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • People who are under the age of 65
  • Person's disability is likely to continue for at least 6 months
  • Person's disability limits their ability to function independently to the extent that on going support is required
  • People who are a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident or from another country that has a funding agreement with New Zealand.

Once eligibility is confirmed we will contact you and make an appointment to see you with any family, whānau, aiga or carer you would like to have with you.

If you do not meet the eligibility requirements for Whaikaha-The Ministry of Disabled People disability support services then we will help you to find other services that may be able to help.
